April 2024 - Present - Digital Coordinator - Government of Manitoba

  • Seconded to the Digital Transformation Office, to facilitate migrating 200,000+ legacy web pages to Drupal CMS, ensuring WCAG compliance and regulatory alignment.
  • Acted as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams in CMS adoption, collaborating with vendors and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and procurement of solutions.

April 2024 - Present - Web Publisher - Government of Manitoba, Housing, Addictions, and Homelessness

  • Lead a website refresh initiative, coordinating with a Business Analyst and IT Branch Director to deliver a WCAG-compliant, user-centric digital experience.
  • Managed and mentored web staff, delegating tasks, providing technical training, and conducting code reviews to maintain high development standards.
  • Co-led the migration of 350+ public-facing government forms and documents, streamlining ownership and hosting processes.
  • Developed and implemented an efficient website update request system, enhancing workflows through automated notifications, status tracking, and data management.

  • Co-created the main webpage outline document for the MAO’s website refresh, which featured a 75-page document detailing all aspects of AccessibilityMB.ca, including webpages, subpages, text, images, hyperlinks, videos, widgets, etc.
  • Utilized web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, & JavaScript to create, update, & maintain AccessibilityMB.ca & all related webpages & content, including text, resources, documents, & inclusion of YouTube content.
  • Reported to MAO senior staff & Executive Director on Canadian provincial webpage structures, layouts, & features to ascertain industry standards & best practices.
  • Participated in a comprehensive 5-year legislative review of the Accessibility for Manitobans Act and contributed to data collection and analysis to produce insightful findings and observations on the efficacy of the Government of Manitoba's Accessibility Office and the impact of the Accessibility for Manitobans Act on Manitoban communities.
  • Created MAO social media & marketing messaging for public awareness & provincial events, including accessibility messaging, Indigenous Disability Awareness Month, Disability Employment Awareness Week, Small Business Week, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, etc.
  • Conducted a provincial review of Manitoba accessibility experts in the private & public sectors, including post- secondary institutions such as the University of Winnipeg & Manitoba.

  • Provided technical & non-technical support to Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries end users and external customers by following the Incident Management process, ensuring minimal impact on the business activity of the organization and the user.
  • Served as a single point of contact for users & user issues, received automatic alarm notifications & responded by procedure, and provided initial triage of service issues.
  • Received, recorded, classified, routed, prioritized, resolved & closed all incoming IT-related support calls, automated system alerts, service requests, & capital project requests
  • Assisted end users with software applications, file accesses & hardware support as required.
  • Action & closed all Tier 1 support calls, including matching to recurring incidents, investigating, diagnosing, & resolving all incidents: recovering services/systems promptly, & documenting all actions/resolutions in the support database
  • Escalated & routed Tier II or III support calls to appropriate ITS staff, based on impact, urgency & prescribed priorities & resolution times.
  • Worked with external service providers to ensure that issues at all Liquor Marts are dealt with promptly.
